The booking thread, where every detail is agreed
The booking thread is the written conversation where the hour, the therapist, the journey time and the deposit are agreed, in Amsterdam time.
Every booking is arranged in writing, in a single thread between the client and the house. It is where the request arrives, where the hour is proposed and agreed, where the journey time to an airport hotel is settled, and where the deposit amount and route are given.
Why writing
A layover involves times, flight numbers, room numbers and sums of money, and each of them is easier to get right in writing than in a call. The thread is also a record: if a flight moves or a question comes up later, the agreed hour and length are there for both sides to read.
Amsterdam time, always
Every time in the thread is Amsterdam time. A traveller writing from another time zone should say so explicitly, or give flight numbers and let the house read the times from those. A misunderstanding of several hours ruins a layover more thoroughly than any delay.
One writer per booking
When two travellers share a session, one of them should write for both. Two people answering the same question from two phones tends to produce two slightly different plans. If each is booking separately, each has a separate thread.
What the thread never holds
Card numbers typed out, passwords, or anything the payment route does not ask for. The destination for the deposit is written in the thread once the hour is agreed, and nowhere else. The one e-mail address for anything outside a booking is [email protected]. The booking page sets out the order of messages, and the deposit entry explains the payment.
